Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MEIOB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MEIOB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MEIOB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MEIOB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where MEIOB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
