Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MEGF9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MEGF9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MEGF9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MEGF9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where MEGF9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
