Across TCGA patient cohorts, MED8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 156 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MED8-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP407, PUDPP1, and MAP2K1. Each is linked with MED8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MED8-to-partner and partner-to-MED8 results are reported.
