MED8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MED8 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MED8-associated genes across cancer lineages are Gab2, Annexin_VII, and STAT3_pY705. Each is linked with MED8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MED8-to-partner and partner-to-MED8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Gab2 grouped by MED8-low versus MED8-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MED8→partner) and Y-score (partner→MED8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
