Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED29 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MED29 data layer compared with 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MED29 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and BRCA are the cancer types where MED29 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
