Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED27 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED27 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MED27 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUSC and BLCA are the cancer types where MED27 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
