Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED26 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED26 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher MED26 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

PDAC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MED26 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
