Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MED16 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MED16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MED16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
