Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MED14 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MED14 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MED14 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MED14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SCLC show a favorable association.

KIRC, SCLC, and LGG are the cancer types where MED14 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
