MECR

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MECR protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,760 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MECR-associated genes across cancer lineages are DLGAP5, GIMAP4, and SDS. Each is linked with MECR in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MECR-to-partner and partner-to-MECR results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MECR versus DLGAP5 in OV, with a Pearson correlation of -0.47.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MECR→partner) and Y-score (partner→MECR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
