MECR

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MECR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 697 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MECR-associated genes across cancer lineages are TAF11L12, MIR5687, and ZNHIT3. Each is linked with MECR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MECR-to-partner and partner-to-MECR results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TAF11L12 grouped by MECR-low versus MECR-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MECR→partner) and Y-score (partner→MECR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
