MECOM

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MECOM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,025 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MECOM-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNW1, ZNF367, and RAC3. Each is linked with MECOM in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MECOM-to-partner and partner-to-MECOM results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SNW1 grouped by MECOM-low versus MECOM-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MECOM→partner) and Y-score (partner→MECOM) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
