MECOM

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MECOM mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 72 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MECOM-associated genes across cancer lineages are Cyclin-E2, STAT3_pY705, and p62 Lck ligand. Each is linked with MECOM in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MECOM-to-partner and partner-to-MECOM results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Cyclin-E2 grouped by MECOM-low versus MECOM-high in STAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MECOM→partner) and Y-score (partner→MECOM) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
