MECOM

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MECOM mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 811 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MECOM-associated genes across cancer lineages are IFT27, SEPSECS, and C12orf57. Each is linked with MECOM in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MECOM-to-partner and partner-to-MECOM results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, IFT27 grouped by MECOM-low versus MECOM-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MECOM→partner) and Y-score (partner→MECOM) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
