ME3

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ME3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ME3 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ME3 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ME3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCS show a favorable association.

BLCA, UCS, and MESO are the cancer types where ME3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
