Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MDM4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MDM4 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MDM4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MDM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and HNSC show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and LGG are the cancer types where MDM4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
