Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MDM4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MDM4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MDM4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MDM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where MDM4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
