MDM2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MDM2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDM2-associated genes across cancer lineages are DEFA3, FAM71A, and IL20. Each is linked with MDM2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDM2-to-partner and partner-to-MDM2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DEFA3 grouped by MDM2-low versus MDM2-high in BONE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MDM2→partner) and Y-score (partner→MDM2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
