Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDH2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 15 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDH2-associated genes across cancer lineages are JNK_pT183_Y185, Ku80, and mTOR_pS2448. Each is linked with MDH2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDH2-to-partner and partner-to-MDH2 results are reported.
