Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDC1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 42,128 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDC1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are BAZ1B, DAXX, and DEK. Each is linked with MDC1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDC1-to-partner and partner-to-MDC1 results are reported.
