Across TCGA cell cohorts, MDC1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,198 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDC1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Chromosome condensation, Mitotic sister chromatid segregation, and Sister chromatid segregation. Each is linked with MDC1 in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDC1-to-partner and partner-to-MDC1 results are reported.
