Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCM2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MCM2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MCM2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

COAD, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MCM2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
