Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCIDAS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MCIDAS data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MCIDAS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCIDAS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA and UCEC are the cancer types where MCIDAS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
