Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCF2L-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MCF2L-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MCF2L-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCF2L-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and LUAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where MCF2L-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
