Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCF2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 806 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCF2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SYNDIG1, MXRA5, and CRISPLD2. Each is linked with MCF2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCF2-to-partner and partner-to-MCF2 results are reported.
