Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCEE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MCEE data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MCEE Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCEE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, BLCA, and CHOL are the cancer types where MCEE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
