Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCCC2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MCCC2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher MCCC2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCCC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and COAD show a favorable association.

OV, COAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where MCCC2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
