Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MCCC1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MCCC1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MCCC1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MCCC1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where MCCC1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
