Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCC protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16,376 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCC-associated genes across cancer lineages are CDCA3, PDGFRB, and NEK2. Each is linked with MCC in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCC-to-partner and partner-to-MCC results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MCC versus CDCA3 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of -0.44.
