Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCC protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 21,601 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCC-associated proteins across cancer lineages are KANK2_S375, CHERP, and SMARCA5. Each is linked with MCC in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCC-to-partner and partner-to-MCC results are reported.
