Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCC mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 37 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCC-associated genes across cancer lineages are Shc_pY317, p38-MAPK_pT180_Y182, and ATM. Each is linked with MCC in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCC-to-partner and partner-to-MCC results are reported.
