Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCAT RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,305 significant associations in total. ACC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYG1, XRCC6, and RPS19BP1. Each is linked with MCAT in more than 33 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCAT-to-partner and partner-to-MCAT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MCAT versus MYG1 in KIRP, with a Pearson correlation of 0.60.
