Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCAT RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 15,720 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCAT-associated proteins across cancer lineages are ATXN10, TTLL12, and CCDC134. Each is linked with MCAT in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCAT-to-partner and partner-to-MCAT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MCAT versus ATXN10 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.36.
