Across TCGA patient cohorts, MCAT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 213 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MCAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are LLPHP1, BTBD7P2, and CD80. Each is linked with MCAT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MCAT-to-partner and partner-to-MCAT results are reported.
