The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MC5R Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MC5R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MC5R Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
