Across TCGA cell cohorts, MBP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 51 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBP-associated genes across cancer lineages are ARL6, SEMG2, and SH3GL3. Each is linked with MBP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBP-to-partner and partner-to-MBP results are reported.
