Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBNL2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MBNL2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher MBNL2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBNL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where MBNL2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
