Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBNL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MBNL1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MBNL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBNL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where MBNL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
