Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBL2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MBL2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MBL2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MBL2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
