Across TCGA patient cohorts, MBD4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,473 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBD4-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR1252, ATP5PFP1, and RNU6-1326P. Each is linked with MBD4 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBD4-to-partner and partner-to-MBD4 results are reported.
