Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MBD3L3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MBD3L3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MBD3L3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MBD3L3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD show a favorable association.

BLCA, LUAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where MBD3L3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
