Across TCGA patient cohorts, MBD1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,045 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBD1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RELCH, TXNL1, and DYM. Each is linked with MBD1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBD1-to-partner and partner-to-MBD1 results are reported.
