Across TCGA patient cohorts, MBD1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 59 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MBD1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PDCD4, ATM, and cIAP. Each is linked with MBD1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MBD1-to-partner and partner-to-MBD1 results are reported.
