Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MB21D2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MB21D2 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MB21D2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MB21D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LGG show a favorable association.

UCEC, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where MB21D2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
