Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher MB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
