Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAU2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAU2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MAU2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAU2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where MAU2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
