Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MATN3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MATN3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MATN3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MATN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD and SKCM are the cancer types where MATN3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
