Across TCGA cell cohorts, MATN2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,046 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MATN2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Cell division, Negative regulation of respiratory burst involved in inflammatory response, and Negative regulation of respiratory burst. Each is linked with MATN2 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MATN2-to-partner and partner-to-MATN2 results are reported.
