Across TCGA patient cohorts, MASP2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,520 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MASP2-associated genes across cancer lineages are LYVE1, ZFP36, and MAFF. Each is linked with MASP2 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MASP2-to-partner and partner-to-MASP2 results are reported.
