Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MARCOL RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MARCOL data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher MARCOL RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MARCOL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

PAAD, UCS, and UCEC are the cancer types where MARCOL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
